I don’t know if it’s spring fever, daylight savings time, or St. Patrick’s Day—but I’m looking to the color green for inspiration right now. It’s a timeless hue that’s fresh and natural and looks good in every room. I adore every shade, from spring green to emerald, mint to celery, and everything in between. Whether it’s for furniture, wall color, rugs, throw pillows or lighting—there’s a shade of green that’s perfect. Here’s a look at some gorgeous greens and how they influence us in home décor:

Green is a Chameleon

In addition to its popular combinations (green and white, green and brown, green and pink), green looks stunning paired next to nearly every shade on the color wheel.

With a shade of green that works for nearly every furniture style and room type—it’s easy to see why green never goes out of style. I love how this classic square ottoman from Homeware.com looks updated when covered in a trellis-patterned fabric on a yellow-green background.
